Dinosaurs, Giants Agency but short Genome

WASHINGTON, AP - As the giants who once inhabited the Earth, the dinosaur was only a genome (genetic composition) is very short compared to modern creature living today. Even T-rex dinosaur known as the king has only the genome that are similar to birds.

That picture of the general results of a study conducted by researchers at Harvard University, USA on 31 species of dinosaurs and fossils of the
extinct bird and 25 species of modern four-legged animals, from amphibians to humans.
Chrisorgan and his team can estimate the size of the genome spesies2 by extrapolating the observations to measure microscopic bone structure of statistical techniques.

The results show meat-eating dinosaur of the theropod groups, such as T-rex, Allosaurus, and Deinonychus, a genome similar to modern birds. The number of the same genome are also found in birds that lived contemporary with dinosaurs, like birds Hesperomis sea divers, as well as birds that lived after the dinosaurs became extinct, like a big Diatryma but can not fly.
